I work nights in the laboratory of a food manufacturer. I leave each morning with at least one funny, absurd or serious story to tell. I'm telling them to you, internet.
if you walk fast while talking to semi-important people and point at the ceiling a lot, it makes you look very important and busy. it got me six years of great reviews in the Air Force.
I will definitely keep that in mind. I'm pretty sure they think I'm not helpful enough because I spend too much time laughing and smiling. I really do help out in other areas when needed and maybe I will try to do that more, but really they can fire me before I change my attitude.
